Book Strategy Triage (10 min)

Operator for founders who want compounding systems and protected capital.

I help owner-operators scale execution (Operations) and de-risk capital (Capital & Risk)—then get it built with the right partners.

Step 1: 10-min Triage → Step 2: Paid Diagnostic → Step 3: Implementation.

Book Strategy Triage (10 min)

What I actually do

  • Partnership: Minority-equity operator seat for founders already at $2M–$15M. Partnership →
  • Operations: CRM + automation architecture → built by partners (e.g., Ops-Pal). Operations →
  • Capital & Risk: Capital allocation + exposure mapping → insurance architecture implementation. Capital & Risk Strategy →

Who I'm for

  • Founder-led, $2M–$15M revenue, cash-flow positive.
  • Under-instrumented ops or unclear exposure map.
  • Values data, speed, and formal risk controls.

How we work

  • Triage (10 min) → context + path recommendation.
  • Diagnostic (paid) → Ops Diagnostic ($1.5k) or Diagnostic + Blueprint ($3k).
  • Implementation → Ops via partner; risk placement via carrier/partner specialists.

Risk Architecture (high-level)

  • We map exposures and decide what to retain vs transfer.
  • Insurance is the implementation layer—used where it improves expected value.
  • I lead the architecture; placement may involve carrier/partner specialists where required.

Backstory

I come from three generations of insurance advisors. My grandfather was a WWII frogman who came home and helped families rebuild with smart coverage. My father was a top producer at Metropolitan Life. I grew up hearing stories of policies that saved families when the impossible happened.

I wasn't interested in insurance until I saw a business owner—sole operator, breadwinner, completely exposed—and realized: most founders are one bad day away from losing everything they built. I approach it as risk architecture for founders and owners, not product sales.

Selected wins

Pipeline and stage-exit clarity

$5M revenue team; roadmap adopted in 2 weeks.

Exposure map and retention/transfer strategy

Founder-led operator; placement via carrier specialists.

CRM and attribution rebuild

Built with a partner; live in 90 days.

Client-reported outcomes; results vary by baseline and scope.

Bio

Daniel Speiss

I operate at the intersection of revenue systems and capital protection: helping founder-led teams scale execution and de-risk capital, then get both built with the right partners.

Prior work includes lending and GTM systems, and I created PRISM Dynamics. My playbook: ship an MVP system fast, then layer controls, documentation, and enablement. For a fast recommendation on fit and path, book Strategy Triage.

PRISM Model & Scorecard

PRISM Dynamics is an extension of Jungian and other personality frameworks: you get a core Prism Profile plus variables—information elements, dimensionality of cognitive functions, functionality, type/Model A, and trait layers. Supply–demand and relational fit are part of it; so are states (Flow / Performative / Stress) and how you match up in teams or dyadic pairs. The system is psychometrically tracked and metricized: scores and dimensions you can measure over time, not a one-off label.

What is PRISM?

PRISM Dynamics extends Jungian and other personality frameworks: a core Prism Profile plus variables (information elements, dimensionality of cognitive functions, type/Model A, traits). You get states—Flow, Performative, Stress—and relational fit for teams and dyadic pairs. The system is psychometrically tracked and metricized, not a one-off label.

PRISM answers: What do I naturally supply? What do I need to stay at my best? What happens to collaboration when stress changes those needs?

Relational Fit Guide

"Do we cover each other's lanes?" • Clarity, Closure, Repair loops

🟩

Supportive

Working together feels easier than working alone.

🟨

Stretch

It can work, but you must be intentional.

🟥

Friction

Repeated breakdowns from mismatched lane coverage.

Three Interaction Loops That Create Fit

Clarity Loop

"What does done mean? Who owns it? By when?"

Closure Loop

"Short updates that close open loops."

Repair Loop

"Name it early → reset → move forward."

Strategic Philosophy

  • You're not hiring a Salesforce admin—you're bringing in a coach and operator with full-stack awareness of GTM, data, and team dynamics.
  • Systems thinking and KPI integrity.
  • Emotional insight and builder's bias.
  • I call misalignment early.

KPIs I design & coach

Speed-to-lead, stage conversion/aging, offer & win rates, average close time, rep/manager productivity, loss taxonomy, source & lender attribution, stage exit criteria with gates. Clear stage exit criteria with gates, breach alerts, completeness checklists.
